About Grand Manita
Grand Manita Beach Resort gives you two ways to cool off: an outdoor pool on site and the sea of Lamai Beach just a few steps away. In between there are well-kept gardens that are pleasant for a wander in the evening.
Rooms are air-conditioned and roomy, and the resort keeps things relaxed rather than formal. Free private parking makes it a sensible choice if you're planning to hire a car for days out around the island.
Lamai itself is a good all-rounder. You get a long swimming beach, a walkable centre full of places to eat and a slightly slower pace than Chaweng, which is still close enough for a night out.

Where it is
The resort is on the Lamai side of Koh Samui's east coast. The beach here stretches for several kilometres, with calmer water at the northern end and the well-known Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks to the south.
From Lamai, Chaweng is about 20 minutes by road and Samui Airport around 30 minutes. Day trips to the Ang Thong Marine Park usually include a pick-up from this part of the island.
